ATTENTION: This motion profile was created on a DOF Reality platform that did not have the SFU gear box upgrade. If you have a SFU upgraded DOF Reality platform, you will likely need to adjust the Effects Slider and Smoothing Effect settings.
Below are the updated motion profiles for DiRT Rally 2.0 which are categorized by the base horsepower for the vehicle. Utilize a tuning based on the horsepower output of the vehicle. The horsepower for each vehicle is listed in DiRT Rally 2.0 on the vehicle selection screen. If an exception is listed below, utilize the recommended tuning. For a General Tuning for DiRT Rally 2.0, utilize the 275 to 350 hp tuning.
Exceptions:
General Tuning for DiRT Rally 2.0 - utilize the 275 to 350hp tuning.
Crosskart Speedcar Xtrem (120hp) - utilize the 350 to 500hp tuning.
100 to 150 hp

Multiple Tunings for DiRT Rally 2.0
Unfortunately, DiRT Rally 2.0 does not export the name of the vehicles in telemetry. This makes it impossible for SimRacingStudio to automatically load different tunings for different vehicles. However, utilizing the ability for SRS to import/export tunings, a user can create multiple tunings for DiRT Rally 2.0 by following the process outlined here.
Tuned on a DOF Reality P6, but will work for all DOF Reality models. For more information on tuning, see the SRS 2.0 Motion Tuning Guide here.

hi all ! many thx for setup , is this profile ok with Dof Reality M2 ? without traction loss of course 😁
hi all how find udp port numbre ? thx
I can't seem to get H3 motion in Dirt 2.0. The SRS test function is working so rig is functioning but I get nothing in Dirt. I was using Simtools before, could there be an issue in the settings configuration file?
Also I'm on the trial license at the moment till I can get it working. My buttkicker is functioning just the H3 doesn't move.
Hi Jeff,
thank you for your great work! I've one (maybe stupid) question. Why is Yaw deactivated (also for ACC) in your tuning? Is there any reason to avoid the third dimensional movement?
Kind regard, Michael
Hi Jeff,
I was experiencing huge delays when I had
<udp enabled="true" extradata="3" ip="127.0.0.1" port="20777" delay="1" />
in my hardware_settings_config_vr.xml, but those delays were for everything. Changing 'delay' to 10 seem to have fixed that.
I tried a few cars, most recent one was BMW E30 M, they all feel about the same motion-wise.
Hi
Trying out this profile with P6 and I get almost no motion on jumps, side impacts are also weak.
I tried to increase Vert G. Heave to 20 and decreased max telemetry to 5, this gives something, but still not enough. I have to approach that hill in Free Roam in 4th gear to feel anything on landing.
Any hints?
Thanks
Thank you Jeff, the feeling is great! I have a question: before trying dirt 2.0 I would have think that we gonna feel a lot of traction lost with this software on my H3. At the final it is a bit the opposite if I compare with other software like driving in rfactor 2 for exemple. I was wondering is it a matter of setup in dirt or a matter of telemetry of the dirt software. I try to increase the slider (traction lost) but didn’t improve much. thanks For all you great work it is extremely useful for the community .
Wow, already updated. Thanks so much
Great info. Will this work on the H3? Keep up the good work.
Just fantastic. Thanks
The original DiRT Rally 2.0 General Tuning created on August 6th, 2020 has been replaced with the one that uses telemetry values that closely match what is capture for the game. The older version utilized a "divide-by-3" process which results in a lower Max Telemetry and thus more jarring motion. However, if you liked the previous version and the additional motion. Its available here:
Retired August 6th, 2020
Retired September 23rd, 2020
Retired November 24th, 2020
Cheers!
