ATTENTION: This motion profile was created on a DOF Reality platform that did not have the SFU gear box upgrade. If you have a SFU upgraded DOF Reality platform, you will likely need to adjust the Effects Slider and Smoothing Effect settings.
Below is a tuning for GTA V. Though motion is supported by SRS, the telemetry output is highly inaccurate. It has been tuned to work with only vehicles in the game (See WARNING! OUT OF VEHICLE MOTION below). The telemetry output is not entirely based on g-forces, so Pitch, Roll, and Yaw will match the angle of the vehicle in the game. Traction Loss has been disabled as it does not accurately represent true traction loss movement and is corrupted by some unknown value. Yaw has also been disabled as it only matches the direction of the vehicle in the game.
It is HIGHLY recommended you use an emergency stop button or other process to prevent motion to the platform while on foot.
WARNING! OUT OF VEHICLE MOTION
When playing outside of a vehicle, such as just walking around town, there will be motion via telemetry to the platform. There is no way to disable this motion as there is no way to make the distinction between a car, helicopter, plane, bike and the actual walking player character. Thus, there will be EXTREME movement of the platform if the on-foot character falls, is hit by a car, or jumps out of a car or aircraft. It's HIGHLY recommended to disable movement of your platform while in this mode and re-enable it when entering a vehicle. Otherwise, unexpected and unintentional extremely jarring movements will occur when traveling by foot in Los Santos.
INACCURATE MOVEMENTS
The motion support for GTA V is not officially supported by Rockstar and the telemetry available has been created by the general GTA V community. Therefore, it will not be accurate, it is buggy, and it can cause unexpected movements. The tuning below was created to balance the telemetry to make it a fun experience when driving. It will not be as accurate as supported racing or flying titles.
Special Note for YawVR Users
Since Yaw is directly related to the direction the vehicle is pointed, it can be enabled on YawVR platforms. It will need to be tuned appropriately and the initial suggested values could be utilized: Yaw Effects Slider at 15 and Max Telemetry at 180. This has not been tested or verified, but a good starting point.

Grand Theft Auto V General Tuning
Notes: Yaw disabled to prevent movement based on directional facing. Traction Loss disabled due to corrupted telemetry Traction Loss output. Lag G Sway increased to compensate for lack of Traction Loss. All other effects tuned to remove extreme jarring movements while in a vehicle. No tuning has been provided for movement on foot.
Has anyone encountered the telemetry working on and off in a rather haphazard fashion inside GTA5? It seems like every ten-twenty seconds I get a brief moment of telemetry movement. I've checked my install process many times over and can't figure it out for the life of me.
